CYPlastics-350.jpg"We're excited to have won the confidence of this major manufacturer, a leader in its industry," said Andy Molodetz, President of CY Plastics, in a news release. "They evaluated several other molders in the region before choosing CY Plastics, commenting on our experience with holding critical tolerances and using engineering-grade resins in our injection molding. They also cited our strength in sonic welding and other secondary operations, and our ability to work with them on cost reductions that will allow them to reduce or eliminate sourcing from China."

CY Plastics will add another injection molding press along with automated handling equipment to support the new business and increase its production capacity for ongoing growth. The company also expects to add at least three full-time employees in the near term.

CY Plastics offers in-house tooling, mold design and maintenance, and maintains its customers' molds to ensure consistent quality of molded parts and maximize the life of the mold.
