Ejector Housing Covers Make Injection Molding Safer

groupimage22.jpgCloz-It ejector housing covers, made of anodized aluminum, are available in 52 sizes and are designed to eliminate hazardous pinch points and debris jamming in mold bases. Superior Die Set says Cloz-It covers are an alternative to acrylic covers and have a viewport that allows monitoring of the ejector and return spring operations while preventing fingers and hands from correcting any problems.

Covers can be installed in pairs on most standard mold bases, whether new or existing, from any manufacturer. One 0.23-in. mounting hole is provided as a reference point. A product selection chart, with mold base widths, 'C' heights, and 'L' and 'W' dimensions, aid in selection of the proper size.

Covers are priced from $25 to $80/pair, depending on size.
