Injection molding machine manufacturer Arburg has increased its geographic reach again, this time with the inauguration of a new building in Budapest, Hungary to serve that country's growing market for advanced processing machinery.
Arburg's managing partner, Michael Hehl, inaugurated the new Hungarian facility late last month as part of an open house and conference attended by around 75 people.

The new building has 450m2 of usable floorspace. Gabriella Hollik, manager of the Arburg Hungária Kft. subsidiary, says the new facility will help her employer and its customers advance the country's molding prowess. "The move means that training, the spare parts store, service, consulting and sales are now housed under one roof," she added.
The new facility includes a demonstration room for three Allrounder injection molding machines where employees can be trained or molds tested. During the open house, a high-speed, thin-walled rectangular packaging application was molded on an Allrounder 470 H with 1000 kN clamping force and a size 400 injection unit.
Arburg has been operating in Hungary for more than 20 years and has had a subsidiary there since 1998.
