The American Mold Builders Association (AMBA; Indianapolis, IN), in sponsorship with Progressive Components (Wauconda, IL), has announced the new AMBA Tooling Trailblazer of the Year award. The award was established to recognize AMBA member accomplishments that have resulted in a notable impact in the area of education. The winning AMBA member company will receive a $5000 scholarship to be used in support of an educational institution or program of its choice.
According to Progressive Components President Glenn Starkey, “We wanted to sponsor an award that would support AMBA member companies in their educational outreach initiatives who are making significant strides in education and/or recruitment. Progressive Components is proud to sponsor such an important award that provides support to the future sustainability of the mold manufacturing industry.”
