Mold production and export dataMold production and export data

The data here were presented by UCISAP, the Italian Die & Precision Equipment Producers, at the recent Eurostampi in Milan. They portray 1997 production and export of all molds for the countries shown, as well as the number of employees working in moldmaking shops. There is no breakout for injection molds alone, but the relative values are of interest. Noticeably absent are data for several major mold producing countries, namely Canada, China, and Taiwan.
