Mold Component News: Knock-Out Switch And Water Jumpers

Progressive Components has introduced a knock-out switch designed to eliminate mold damage, and has added water jumpers to its product offering. Please contact the company directly for pricing information. Use the Key Contact Directory.

Knock-out switch Ejector plate switches are often required to prevent mold crashes, but Progressive has introduced a switch that is completely contained within the mold so no loose wires can be damaged during mold setup or transportation.

The switch features a flush-mounted connection, compatible with current industry standards. And the footprint of this switch is said to be more compact than other systems available, leaving room for guided ejection components, support pillars, etc.

Water jumpers are said to provide a smooth, unrestricted flow path while keeping the hose as close to the mold base as possible to avoid damage. The coupler sleeve prevents accidental disconnection and the jumper fits all standard connector plugs.
