R&D Plastics achieves ISO 9001:2008 certification; announces new Plastic Part Design Seminar

R&D Plastics LLC (Hillsboro, OR) has just been awarded the ISO 9001:2008 Management System Certificate by Orion Registrar Inc. for the manufacture and assembly of plastic parts. ISO certification is based largely on quality management principles, including a strong customer focus, motivation and involvement of top management, and continual improvement and review.

The goal in meeting the ISO standard is to ensure customers receive consistently high-quality products.

“We are extremely proud of our team and its efforts to attain the certification,” said Charlie O’Bosky, President of R&D Plastics. “This certification complements and enhances our quality management system that has been in use for 20 years. Certification was the logical next step for improving the customer experience when doing business with R&D Plastics.”

R&D Plastics also announced its upcoming Plastic Part Design Seminar for Injection Molding. The company’s seminars are held several times each year and provide much valuable information on designing parts for injection molding to optimize production.

Admission is free but space is limited. People interested in attending this seminar should call 503/693-7993 to reserve a seat.
