RJG Inc. (Traverse City, MI) announced its first training facility in Mexico last month, offering a variety of classes that were not previously available in that country. In partnership with auto parts molder Yanfeng Global Automotive Interiors (YFAI), RJG will open the new training center in Yanfeng’s manufacturing plant in Queretaro.
“YFAI is proud to announce that it will be partnering with RJG for the shared use of our new training center located in Queretaro,” said Kenton Oglesbay, Lead Advanced Manufacturing Engineer-Trainer at Yanfeng. “This collaboration with RJG was a logical continuation based upon our already strong and successful working relationship that has been built over the past 30 years.”
RJG commented in its release: “We are very excited to bring our world-class training to the Mexico area for our current and new customers. They will now have the option to be able to attend a wider offering of RJG’s courses in a public format within Mexico.”
Jorge Banderas and Daniel Lopez will be the RJG lead consultant/trainers, leading these classes in Spanish. Courses will include RJG’s Systematic Molding, Decoupled Molding workshop, Master Molder I & II and many more courses.
RJG also noted that having a training facility in Mexico will allow its customers to receive the training they want with shorter lead times and less travel, which in turn leads to cost savings. “We will now be able to train an even larger workforce on decoupled and systematic molding strategies,” the company added.
