Shelf-mounted robot for injection moldingShelf-mounted robot for injection molding

KS Series robots are designed for top loading and unloading of injection molding machines. The series offers a low-profile design for platen-mounted robots that reduces ceiling height requirements on IMMs up to 1200 tons. The shelf-mount design has a greater downward working envelope compared to standard floor-mounted robot models?improving the processor?s flexibility and cycle times.
For the flexibility of a six-axis robot with the low-profile capability of a shelf-mount, the robot series optimizes space and increases accessibility to the workcell. The robots are available in KR 16, 30, and 60 models with payloads up to 60 kg and a vertical reach for part removal of 1800 mm. The robots are ideal for top-mount integration onto injection molding machines, for part unloading, insert loading, degating, and other post-mold processes.
In addition, the robots are suited for applications on machine tools for part loading and unloading, palletizing, deburring, and part marking.
