StackTeck Systems Ltd. (Brampton, ON, Canada), a global manufacturer of multi-cavity, high-volume production molds for packaging, closures, personal care and medical products, will be running a 2 x 24 stack mold in Netstal’s new Elios 7500 high-performance injection molding machine at the K show this year.
Netstal’s new generation Elios machine has the fastest dry cycle in its size class, thanks to a newly developed clamping unit. The machine has been designed to meet the rigorous demands of the thin-wall packaging market. Boasting a cycle time of four seconds, the machine will mold more than 43,000 round lids with a part weight of 2.8 grams per hour using StackTeck’s high-precision mold.
“StackTeck is pleased to be part of the official launch of Netstal’s new 7500 machine,” commented Vince Travaglini, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for StackTeck. “Our mold provides benchmark performance and leading edge technologies for optimized productivity and part quality. At the end of the day, it’s all about hitting those operational targets to achieve minimum plastic piece part costs.”
K Show attendees can see this system running in Netstal’s booth B27/C24/C27/D24 located in hall 15.
