Valve gate cylinders retain maximum glass fiber length in molded parts

Two valve gate cylinders, the HYC 4018 and PNC 7518, are suited for both hydraulic and pneumatic systems. These valve gate cylinders for hot runner systems feature a very large stroke as well as an optimized melt flow channel that the company claims greatly improves the ability to retain maximum glass fiber length in the molded part.

They are available with tapered or cylindrical shut-off and feature needle position adjustment (±1.5 mm) without removal, anti-twist needle lock, active cooling of the needle guide, decoupling of the oil chamber, and compact design. The maximum fiber length allows for better performance such as reduced shrinkage, warpage, creep, anisotropy, and linear thermal expansion.
