KraussMaffei Group is consolidating its operations in the U.K. and Ireland, moving its Netstal UK affiliate from Stone in Staffordshire approximately 40 miles north to Warrington in Cheshire, so that an independent market presence for the Netstal, KraussMaffei, and KraussMaffei Berstorff brands will be maintained under the organizational umbrella of KraussMaffei (UK) Ltd.

Mike Bate, managing director of the U.K. subsidiary KraussMaffei (UK) Ltd. since 2009 will stay on. Nigel Baker, managing director Netstal Limited, however, has decided to step down, according to KraussMaffei. He has worked for Netstal in various functions since 1988. Richard Mumford, director of sales KraussMaffei, will head up the respective sales team for both the Netstal and KraussMaffei injection molding machinery brands.

The former office of Netstal in Stone will be closed, with the spare parts warehouse to be moved to Warrington within next two months. Bate said in a release that ultimately, the move means that there is now a much larger organization available to support the needs of the Netstal brand in the U.K.

This consolidation follows similar moves for KraussMaffei and its brands in the U.S., Brazil, and China.
