Maruka highlights FCS molding machine, new representation at PLASTEC Midwest

will also introduce the latest additions to its technical sales and support team. Maruka (Booth #1362; September 10-12; McCormick Place) will run live an FCS Servo Assist hydraulic injection molding machine, as part of a fully integrated, automated high-speed work cell ideal for medical part prototyping. The company will also discuss options availabe for the all-new, all-electric Toyo Si-35V.

Maruka has also announced that manufacturer rep firm Millholland Conrad Inc. (Cicero, IN) will represent Maruka in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia, as well in the western areas of Pennsylvania and New York.

Elsewhere the company appointed Ron Lintz as Maruka's Regional Manager for the Central U.S. Lintz has also been appointed manager of the company's Chicago-area technical center located in Lombard, IL.

Rep firm Precision Plastics Equipment Inc. (Kansas City, MO) has been brought on to serve Maruka customers in Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska and southern Illinois.

Process Solutions Group (Brown Deer, WI) now represents Maruka in Wisconsin, except for the far northwest region, and customers in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and northwestern Wisconsin are now being served by Powell McGee Associates Inc. (Shoreview, MN). In Florida, Maruka customers are now being served by 5 Nines Automation LLC.

Maruka's injection molding division is well-known as the exclusive North American distributor of  all-electric Si series of machines from Toyo. To meet the market's demand for hydraulic presses, Maruka also offers servo-driven hydraulic injection molding machines from Taiwanese machine maker FCS.

At PLASTEC West 2013 in Anaheim, Maruka debuted the new FCS line of hybrid and hydraulics. Product Manager Dale Bartholomew told PlasticsToday the company viewed the line as filling a potential gap created by Toyo's exit from the hydraulic market.
