The module then recommends alternative molding machines to use when the primary machine is unavailable due to repair or performance degradation problems. Aiming to eliminate lengthy trial and error processes, this feature is designed to quickly provide plant personnel a resource to ensure good-quality parts can be made by another machine, without interruption. The module works in conjunction with Hunkar?s real-time automated machine and tool scheduler analysis. Criteria for alternative machine recommendation includes historical class-factor operation by tool, machine tonnage, sizing, and pertinent ejector and core sequence information.
