The SPE International Polyolefins Conference celebrates its 50th anniversary in Galveston, TX, in February.

The event, which claims to be the largest conference in the world devoted to polyolefins, will host more than 130 technical presentations, daily keynotes, and over 60 exhibitors at the Galveston Island Convention Center from Feb. 16 to 19, 2025.

Steve Alexander, president and CEO of the Association of Plastics Recycler, has been confirmed as one of the keynote speakers.

Two networking socials celebrating the event’s 50th year are scheduled, and more than 900 people are expected to attend the conference.

The conference is organized by the South Texas Section of the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) in collaboration with the SPE Polymer Modifiers and Additives Division, the Thermoplastic Materials and Foams Division, the Engineering Properties and Structures Division, the Building and Infrastructure Division, the Applied Rheology Division, and the Flexible Packaging Division.
