Another award for Stiplastics' drug-dispensing device

The awards just keep on coming for Stiplastics (Beauvoir-en-Royans, France), which provides injection molding and packaging design and manufacturing services to the medical device and pharmaceutical industries. Its Press&Take device that precisely dispenses granules, micro tablets and capsules received the Best Innovation award at Pharmapack Europe in Paris last week. It was the latest win for the company, which previously took home awards at CPhI and Emballage and earned a Packaging Oscar for the drug-delivery device.

Another award for Stiplastics' drug-dispensing device

The awards just keep on coming for Stiplastics (Beauvoir-en-Royans, France), which provides injection molding and packaging design and manufacturing services to the medical device and pharmaceutical industries. Its Press&Take device that precisely dispenses granules, micro tablets and capsules received the Best Innovation award at Pharmapack Europe in Paris last week. It was the latest win for the company, which previously took home awards at CPhI and Emballage and earned a Packaging Oscar for the drug-delivery device. 

Press&TakePress&Take is designed to be compatible with any solid-form medication and ensures that the drug is dispensed in unit doses determined by the laboratory. The dispenser can control dosing down to one item and can handle granules that are not perfectly round in shape, Virginie Delay, Marketing Manager, explained to sister brand PMP News at the Paris event. Stiplastics has more than 30 years of experience designing and molding plastic devices for the healthcare market. Specialties include dosage systems, pharmaceutical packaging, biological sample carrying cases and pillboxes.
