Medtech-focused contract manufacturer Cadence Inc. reports that it is expanding cleanroom capacity at its Staunton, VA, facility. When completed, the cleanroom will measure 5,000 square feet, supporting recently won business and reflecting its continued investment as a fully integrated partner in the medical device sector, said Cadence in the announcement.

Cadence applies product development and manufacturing services to the production of value-added sub-assembly and finished devices for the drug delivery, consumable diagnostics, and medical device markets. The company supplies overmolding, insert molding, and injection molding as well as metal fabrication, assembly, and packaging services to medical device and pharma customers globally.

In addition to its HQ in Staunton, Cadence operates facilities in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Wisconsin, Florida, and Costa Rica.

“The cleanroom expansion underscores our commitment to supporting our customers’ growth and our ability to scale operations quickly to meet evolving needs,” said President and CEO Rob Werge. “It also is a testament to the trust our partners place in us to deliver high-value, fully integrated manufacturing solutions.”
