M. Holland Co., an international distributor of thermoplastic resin headquartered in Northbrook, IL, announced the formation of the M. Holland Healthcare Group. Effective immediately, the group provides targeted services and medical-grade resin products, including K-Resin and Zylar, to medical device manufacturers across North America and Latin America. The company is exhibiting at booth 3808 at the co-located MD&M West and PLASTEC West event in Anaheim, CA, through Feb. 8.

The M. Holland Healthcare Group expands M. Holland’s plastics distribution into the growing healthcare market, providing a full line of medical-grade resins with regulatory documentation and change notification. The company's medical technical experts work alongside customers from product development through manufacturing.

“M. Holland has engineered an industry-leading medical-grade product portfolio combined with technical services and commercial resources that our medical customers and suppliers can trust,” said Josh Blackmore, Global Healthcare Manager for M. Holland. “We source global medical-grade resins of the highest consistency and quality, and only work with suppliers that have demonstrated a continuous commitment to the healthcare industry. We aim to be the healthcare industry’s complete resins provider with the highest levels of personal service consistency, reliable supply and accessibility in the market.”

M. Holland Healthcare Group also provides healthcare customers with change management tools, such as formulation control and change notification, and provides resources to reduce burdens for when change is unavoidable, said M. Holland.
