Precision injection molder Technimark is expanding medical manufacturing capabilities at its global headquarters in Asheboro, NC, with the purchase of a 204,000-square-foot facility. Equipped with Class 7 and Class 8 cleanrooms, the space will specialize in medical manufacturing, including injection molding, assembly, contract services, and logistics operations. The supplier to the healthcare, consumer specialty, and industrial markets made the announcement on May 2.

Technimark said that it is committed to expanding cleanroom facilities worldwide to satisfy demand from its global customer base. The new Asheboro facility brings Technimark’s global headquarters campus to 1.4 million square feet.

“We’re excited to significantly expand our medical manufacturing operations at our global headquarters,” said Kris Peavy, CCO and President of Healthcare. “Creating open capacity to meet our customers’ future manufacturing needs is a pillar of our organic growth strategy.”

Technimark also is planning major expansions at its facilities in Mexico, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, and China this year and next.
