Trio of medtech innovators to deliver keynote presentations at MD&M Minneapolis

A trio of keynote speakers at the forthcoming Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M) Minneapolis trade show and conference will address the evolution of digital health, pathways for bringing innovative ideas to the marketplace and putting the patient at the center of medical advances. The event comes to the Minneapolis Convention Center on Oct. 23 and 24, 2019.

Teresa PregoOn the first day of the show, Teresa Prego, Vice President of Marketing and Market Development at Global Kinetics, will discuss the evolution of digital health, with a focus on the significant role that medical wearables will play. She will explore how the successful integration of information technology in medical devices can contribute to improvements in patient care.

Chris VelisA second keynote on Oct. 23 will explore how creativity aligned with disciplined investing and entrepreunerial acumen can yield risk-adjusted returns. Christopher Velis, founder of Miraki Innovation, will share his model for transferring intellectual property out of the lab and into a thriving company.

Ranndy KelloggOn Oct. 24, Ranndy Kellogg, CEO of Omron Healthcare, will explain how the combination of medtech innovation, consumer education and behavioral change can help individuals adopt preventive health practices and reduce the risk of cardiac events. As part of his keynote address, Kellogg will showcase Omron’s HeartGuide, the first FDA-cleared wearable oscillometric blood-pressure monitor.
