In hall 8b at booth F03-05, the company will mold a 1.1-mg POM-based micro-filter with an 80-µm grid designed for use in micro pumps and inhalers. The micro filter is produced in a two-cavity mold running on a MicroPower 15/10 injection molding machine with a clamping force of 150 kN.
The all-electric MicroPower machine is its own cleanroom production cell and is equipped with a rotary table, parts removal handling device, image processing system for quality control and a Class 6 cleanroom module.
The MicroPower machine on display has been specially developed for manufacturing micro parts under cleanroom conditions by virtue of its design. The encasement of MicroPower machines also provides sufficient space for the integration of various equipment options, such as a rotary table, robot, material dryers or temperature controllers. All drive modules of the all-electric drive system including all mechanical components are encapsulated in easy-to-clean housings.
Compamed and Medica will be held at the Düsseldorf fairgrounds on Nov. 13 to 16.
