Modular cleanroom system can be set up in just hours

In just a few hours, molders can turn a regular molding operation into a cleanroom operation thanks to this new VFCS-3 modular cleanroom system. Comprised of an aluminum frame and a rigid clear acrylic wall, this vertical-flow component system features the manufacturer?s Max 8000EQ fan filter module, which provides 99.99 percent efficiency on particles of .3 µm and larger with a standard Hepa filter. (With a ULPA filter, the system is 99.9999 percent efficient.) The fan is also very quiet, at 48 dbA.

The cleanroom system, which supports class 100, 1000, 10,000, and 100,000 standards, is designed for easy installation, requiring no special tools. It is available in nine standard configurations ranging from 4 by 4 by 8 ft to 16 by 28 by 8 ft and comes complete with the manufacturer?s 35E Series light troffers. Custom units can be designed to meet individual molding needs. Pricing information on the system was not provided.
