Consisting of interchangeable flanges, heaters, and nozzle and gate bodies, a new nozzle design and hot runner system promises faster start ups, easier operation, and cost reductions of as much as 40% if combined with the manufacturer?s mold. The proSERIES technology is manufactured to ISO 9001:2000 standards, and if a thermocouple and set screw are added, the system represents a complete nozzle assembly. The patented front-mounted nozzle design grants processors inmold access while the tool is in the machine for easier removal and maintenance.

The customizable molds and hot runner systems are configurable up to 128 drops with hot tip, sprue gate, and multitip edge-gate designs. The nozzles process up to 50g shot weight/part, and can handle TPEs and engineering resins, including 40% glass-filled nylon.

The manifolds are made from SS420, H13, or P20 tool steel for toughness and thermal control. Runner channels are smooth and contoured to eliminate hang ups, and configurations include X-, Y-, or H-flow designs for up to 24 drops, including 240V removable heaters.
