Multi-Purpose Material Loader Works With Compressed Air
IMS is now stocking the Line Vac materials handling system, which it says is designed to move large volumes of material over long distances. It can transport pellets, regrind, scrap and small parts.
In operation, compressed air flows through the inlet into an annular plenum chamber. It is then injected into the throat through directed nozzles. These jets of air create a vacuum at the intake, which draws material in and accelerates it though the unit.
The Line Vac has no moving parts and is available in stainless steel. Prices start at $102 for a 1-1/4-in. unit and go up to $145 for a 2-in. unit.
