Tony Hopfer has joined Milacron LLC's (Batavia, OH) Global & Strategic Accounts Team to integrate the company's German injection molding machinery arm, Ferromatik, and its technologies into American markets. Hopfer will report to Glenn Anderson, Milacron's senior VP of global and strategic accounts, and be responsible for sales of Ferromatik Milacron Europe (FME) machinery, representing the FME line across all  vertical market segments. Milacron's  Global & Strategic Accounts team, which also includes Andy Stirn, Kent Royer, and Jim Moore, was formed to integrate the company's global product platforms and better address customer needs on a regional versus  product-line basis.

Joie Komarmi, Dyna-Purge's international business manager, will be retiring effective July 2011. Komarmi joined Shuman Plastics in 1975 as a buyer and seller of thermoplastic raw materials. In 1982, she helped the company launch Dyna-Purge purging compounds, starting as domestic sales manager, with responsibilities for international development as well. In 2001, she was promoted to International Business Manager. Kelli Ropach will take over as the new International Business Manager. Ropach joined the company in 2006 and most recently worked as the international sales manager.

Medical device manufacturer Micron Products (Fitchburg, MA) hired Thomas E. Kokernak as its director of engineering and supply chain management, and Andrew Santin as director of business development and sales engineering. Prior to joining Micron Products, Kokernak was director of global supply chain management at Kopin Inc. Previous experience included senior level management positions in supply chain at Nypro. Santin has more than 20 years experience in new product development, manufacturing, and the building of international partnership alliances. He was previously VP of product development at the injection molder, Res-Tech Corp.
