Meanwhile, a position has opened at the Plastics Pipe Institute Inc. (PPI; Irving, TX) for a qualified professional engineer for its Fuel Gas (FGD) and Building and Construction (BCD) divisions. Tony Radoszewski, PPI executive director, said the group's members asked for the new hire to help support their efforts in these dynamic end-use markets for plastic pipe. "Yes, our member companies are feeling positive about the future and we are seeing an improving economic environment. While clearly there's a lot more work to do, adding this new, key team player helps us better align for current and future marketplace demands."
The person eventually hired will be visible, active and collaborative within other industry organizations, standards and code bodies, and in forums where forward-thinking leadership is vital, said Radoszewski.
Interested? The PPI hopes to fill the position by year's end. Full position summary requirements, along with the details for applying can be found on the PPI website. —[email protected]
