Jon Kelm has joined Fordham Plastics as a sales agent, responsible for select accounts in North and South Carolina and territory sales in Eastern South Carolina and Eastern Georgia. Fordham Plastics is responsible for all territories in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia for auxiliary and robotics supplier AEC (Schaumburg, IL).
Compounder and additives supplier Excel Polymers has promoted Marcus Pignataro to the role of president and general manager- Asia/Pacific. In this role, he will be president of EXLP Global (Foshan) and oversee the completion of the construction and start-up phases of the company’s new manufacturing facility in the Shunde Industrial Park in Shunde (both China) and will be responsible for commercial activities in Asia/the Pacific Rim. Pignataro has been with Excel Polymers since 2002. Most recently he was GM of the Performance Additives Business Unit.
Global specialty chemicals manufacturer Sartomer Company has named Jeremy Austin as its new market development engineer. He is responsible for market and technology development of functional additives exclusively for the global plastics industry. The addition of Austin to Sartomer’s functional additives department is part of the company’s decision to develop its global plastics business. Previously, Austin worked with GE Plastics at its Exton, PA location as a process and product development engineer.
