Hyperion Catalysis International Inc. (Hyperion) has concluded a patent license agreement and a supply agreement with Japan’s Showa Denko K.K. (SDK). In exchange for certain payments, royalties, and other consideration, the license agreement allows SDK to sell carbon nanotube (CNT)-based products for use in plastics under Hyperion’s patent portfolio.

Hyperion Catalysis International Inc. (Hyperion) has concluded a patent license agreement and a supply agreement with Japan’s Showa Denko K.K. (SDK). In exchange for certain payments, royalties, and other consideration, the license agreement allows SDK to sell carbon nanotube (CNT)-based products for use in plastics under Hyperion’s patent portfolio. The supply agreement provides that SDK will purchase Hyperion’s FIBRIL-brand CNT-based products for resale along with its own line of CNT-based products.—[email protected]
