A manufacturer of can liners, WF&B was founded in 1972 and has experienced continuous growth over the last 40 years with expansion projects increasing the square footage at it’s Shawano plant from 20,000 to 60,000-square-feet which currently has the capacity to produce over 45 million pounds annually. The Company also has strong expertise in the recovery and recycling of post- industrial and postconsumer plastics packaging.
This is Novolex’s fourth acquisition since private equity investment firm Wind Point Partners (Chicago, IL) acquired Novolex (formerly Hilex Poly) in 2012, in partnership with Chairman and CEO Stan Bikulege.
Previous Novolex acquisitions include Packaging Dynamics (Chicago, IL), Duro Bag (Elizabeth, NJ) and a portion of Clondalkin Group’s North American Flexible Packaging Division (Amsterdam, The Netherlands). With the addition of WF&B, Novolex is now a $2.0 billion revenue company with over 5,200 employees and 37 manufacturing locations in North America, including two world-class recycling facilities.
