The convenience of ecommerce shopping can be diminished if the items are damaged during shipping. Everyday ecommerce shipping vessels usually consist of ill-fitting flexible envelopes or corrugated boxes, which are often filled with paper or air-filled materials to help buffer the goods from the rigors of shipping. In this patent application filed by Procter and Gamble, the flexible shipping vessel has been re-imagined to include multiple expandible chambers designed to better conform to the item(s) contained in its easy to access “article reservoir,” protecting item(s) from damage during shipment and eliminating the need for protective filler material.
