Imagine a container that could raise a clear warning flag once it’s been opened.

That’s exactly what TamperFlag rigid containers do. Made by Novolex brand Waddington North America (WNA), the PET containers are designed with a tamper-evident "flag" that pops up and stays raised once opened.

"Our new TamperFlag containers deliver a fresh solution to safeguarding food and reassuring consumers about the security of a product," says Sachin Shah, senior vice president and general manager of Waddington North America. "This is yet another groundbreaking innovation that truly makes a difference for customers."

The TamperFlag is activated in a simple, single step when the hinge container lid is closed, creating an efficient packing process. Once opened, the TamperFlag pops up and is visible to consumers, ensuring they can see if the container has been opened or tampered with.

Offered in sizes from 8 to 32 ounces, TamperFlag containers are said to be ideal for both wet and dry grab-and-go snacks. The leak-proof and stackable containers provide a smooth surface area for customer labels.

They also improve sustainability by eliminating the need for plastic tear strips or shrink bands.

The containers can be made with post-consumer recycled PET, supporting the sustainability goals of customers. They are available with 25% or 50% rPET.
