The new partnership brings turnkey solutions to the plastic manufacturing industry across the North American market, said a joint release from the companies.

Imdecol"IMDECOL's innovative automation development and manufacturing expertise have made it one of the industry's most respected automation providers," said the release. "Over the years, DTI has become a leading supplier of multi-cavity plastic injection molds for thin-wall containers," explained Michael Klestinec, President of Dollins Tool. "With two leaders working together, those in the plastic industry can expect streamlined options for their projects. There has been a void in the industry that our turnkey solutions will fill, which is going to simplify projects for our customers. We expect this to positively affect the in-mold labeling market, in particular, because our companies have successfully partnered on many complex IML systems already in production."

As IMDECOL's representative, DTI adds the automation component to the types of packaging injection molds they offer. Combining IMDECOL automation technology with DTI's molds gives customers a turnkey solution instead of requesting multiple quotes from individual sources for one project. This partnership is advantageous for IMDECOL customers, enabling them to adapt product design to automation processes such as decoration technologies, handling and full pack-out.

"Our partnering with IMDECOL is a natural fit for DTI. Our full line of products incorporates advanced technology and precise engineering, as well as a wide range of support services. DTI provides our customers with a single source for increasing their productivity and efficiency," stated Klestinec. "Being able to add automation to the mix supports our customers' performance-driven applications."

IMDECOL has designed, built and installed more than 400 unique tailor-made systems in the last two decades. The company specializes in delivering customer specific, tailor made automation for the plastics industry.
