According to comedian Jerry Seinfeld via A Z Quotes, “we want to do a lot of stuff; we're not in great shape. We didn't get a good night's sleep. We're a little depressed. Coffee solves all these problems in one delightful little cup."

It is today on National Coffee Day that we raise our cups to an amazing beverage that’s a staple for humans around the globe in the morning and anytime.

That means there’s a lot of packaging needed to preserve, market, and deliver all that coffee.

According to an August 2022 report from Transparency Market Research, the global coffee packaging market was valued at $749.6 million in 2021, and is projected to grow at 4.7% yearly from 2022 to 2027 to reach a market value of $991.6 million.

We center our tribute on flexible-packaging-packed coffee found on Twitter, grab a cuppa joe and enjoy.

Sustainability influences this market as in others. Smile Compostable Solutions (the new name for Smile Beverage Werks), claims its foodware and coffee packaging, as seen in the feature image at the top, “composts whole and contains no added microplastics.” The certified commercially compostable laminate bags meet or exceed all new state regulations and can be used across many foods categories.

We love it, too:
