With two new cast-film extrusion lines at its Lolita, TX plant, the AmTopp Division of Inteplast Group now has 10 on site, increasing its annual stretch-film name-plate capacity to a total of 260 million lb. More is planned, too, as AmTopp plans to install up to five stretch-film lines in its new manufacturing facility in Hazleton, PA.

AmTopp's stretch film operation produces conventional and engineered hand film and machine wraps. The company is a processor of biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) films and stretch-wrap films, and also markets plastic concentrates and compounds.

The two new extrusion lines at the Lolita site will be producing thin-gauge films for pallet wrap products, starting operations in the second half of 2012. In addition to the stretch films, the company also processes BOPP films for use in food packaging, labels and decals, adhesive tapes, graphic art over-laminates, cartons and envelope windows, and miscellaneous non-food wrappers.

In addition to AmTopp, Inteplast Group has two other divisions: Integrated Bagging Systems, and World-Pak. The company's 525-acre site in Lolita features nine plants.
