PlasticsToday’s Clare Goldsberry wins leadership and innovation award

PlasticsToday Senior Contributing Editor Clare Goldsberry has been receiving some well-deserved recognition from the plastics industry of late. In October 2015, she was inducted into the Plastics Pioneers Association. Now comes news that she is the winner of the inaugural IMLCON & IMDCON AWA Leadership and Innovation Award 2016.

Clare Goldsberry accepts the IMLCON & IMDCON AWA Leadership and Innovation Award from Corey Reardon, President and CEO of AWA Alexander Watson Associates.

The annual conference dedicated to in-mold labeling and decorating, which was held in Chicago recently, honored Goldsberry for her 30 years of reporting and commenting on the plastics and in-mold industries and authoring seven books related to plastics processing.

“Nobody deserves this award as much as Clare,” said Corey Reardon, President and CEO of international market researchers AWA Alexander Watson Associates. “She has been a genuine and committed advocate of this technology, and promoted it enthusiastically and knowledgeably. I know the whole IML world will join me in thanking her for her outstanding contribution, and congratulating her on her many achievements,” said Reardon.

Ditto from the PlasticsToday team. Congratulations, Clare!
