PPC Flexible Packaging LLC (Buffalo Grove, IL), a provider of flexible packaging for the specialty foods, healthcare and horticultural markets, has announced the acquisition of Pewaukee, WI–based HFM Packaging Ltd.
PPC specializes in flexographic printing and converting of flexible films, bags and pouches. It offers cleanroom packaging for healthcare and medical applications, organic snack brands, produce, pet food, bakery and horticulture, according to the company’s announcement. Founded in 1968, the company operates five manufacturing facilities, including plants in Buffalo Grove, IL; Mission, KS; Rome, GA; Payson, UT; and Colombia in South America. Its facilities are SQF and ISO 9001 certified. PPC is privately owned by management and Morgan Stanley Capital Partners.
HFM Packaging Ltd. has more than 40 years' experience producing packaging for cosmetics, personal care, pharma, food and industrial applications. It describes itself as a market leader in the use of peel-and-reseal labels for personal care markets as well as a converter of pouches. The company is known for its high-speed die-cut labeling capabilities, state-of-the-art re-sealable pouching technology and engineering assistance using turnkey packaging solutions, said the company.
