If you like to read a magazine back to front and flipped here first, donât worry. You havenât accidentally picked up Good Housekeeping or Better Homes & Gardens.
Believe it or not, this is what the shop room floor looks like over in the Bahlingen, Germany plant belonging to the 40-year-old moldmaker and hot runner systems supplier Otto Männer Vertriebs GmbH. Thatâs Manner International LP (Norcross, GA) over here.
Itâs tough to believe the company builds single-face, multicomponent, and stack molds; molds with up to 128 cavities; and molds ranging up to 800 tons in a shop that looks like this, isnât it? Solid woodâincredible!
And, no, they didnât clean it up because they knew IMM was coming. Not a chip in sight! As previously reported, Männerâs putting the finishing touches on a $5 million, 38,750-sq-ft plant expansion to better accommodate its expansion into becoming a supplier of fully integrated molding systems. It might already be completed by the time you read this.
Wonder what the new floor will look like . . .
