Pelletron expands in Europe

After many years in which the company has been a regular at European trade shows, and has seen its business there expand, the Lancaster, PA-based manufacturer of de-dusting equipment for materials handling in the plastics and other industries has decided to establish a subsidiary in Vogt, Germany. Peter Siebentritt, formerly of Momatech GmbH, an agency that had been representing Pelletron in Europe, has been named co-managing director of the new company, along with Pelletron’s owners, Heinz Schneider and Paul Wagner.

Momatech will remain sales representative for Pelletron in the southern part of Germany, Switzerland and parts of Austria. Pelletroneurope is responsible for the sales and services in Europe, and new office buildings and facilities for assembly and storage are under construction. After completion, Pelletroneurope will assemble the company’s DeDuster systems, components and Pellbows (a pipe elbow for conveying of abrasive products). Pelletron claims its patented DeDuster is the only separator that removes dust and streamers in a single machine. The machines are available for flow rates from 50 kg/hr up to 100 tons/hr. —[email protected]
