45 new customers and counting: IQMS revises 2013 forecast upwards

IQMS has signed more than 45 new customers in the first half of the year, including in established markets like medical, automotive, assembly, and packaging, in addition to what it's calling "untapped industries", like freight and recycling, as well as aerospace and defense, electronics and agriculture.

IQMS released two new proprietary hardware offerings over the first six months of 2013. The second-generation shop floor control device, the RTStation 10.1, and the PMIU88 OEM Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). The company also announced two additions to EnterpriseIQ, including a product management add-in for the CAD application, SolidWorks, as well as multiple extended mobile apps to bring manufacturers more shop floor control from anywhere.

Construction on IQMS' second 30,000-sq-ft building at its corporate headquarters in California, which is on track to be completed by the end of November. In anticipation of the expansion, IQMS has been hiring across every department at the company and currently employs almost 200 across the globe.
