Some post-production inspection requires extra lighting for either the automated inspection equipment examining the parts or manual quality inspectors. A new line of conveyors sheds this light from a new angle?underneath?by using a back-lit translucent conveyor belt. Available on the 2200 and 3200 Series conveyors from Dorner, the back-lit option helps illuminate part profile and appearance from below the part, eliminating shadows.The back-lit 2200 Series conveyors also feature an 80-lb load capacity, belt speeds of 276 ft/min, and cover widths ranging from 1.75 inches to 2 ft. The 3200 Series conveyors offer 1000-lb load capacity, 421-ft/min belt speeds, and flat or cleated belts as well as center-drive models. All conveyors are built to order, allowing customization, and they are available for delivery approximately two weeks after design approval.
