The A Series beside-the-press granulators are designed to reduce cleanout and knife adjusting time. Less effort is reportedly needed to empty the regrind bin, and there is a choice of reduced rotor speeds for uniform, quality regrind. The granulators are said to increase productivity with good cutting chamber access, flexibility, and strength for added performance.

The models offer an open/solid rotor that delivers high inertia while maintaining airflow, and thicker cutting chamber material improves durability and reliability. The pivoting rotor and cutting chamber opens wide, allowing the screen to be removed without dropping the screen cradle, for fast and easy cleanout. The side hopper access door also provides processors with hopper access to aid in easy cleanout.

Standard features of the A Series include SoundSorber double-walled hopper construction to reduce noise, a bulk-filled base for sound dampening and stability, a staggered rotor with four-edged knives, three- and five-blade solid rotors, and hard-faced welding of the cutting chamber for wear resistance.
