Linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) grade EFDC7050 targets tubular blown-film extrusion with good toughness and high tensile strength (31 MPa in the machine direction and 23 MPa in the transverse direction). In demanding applications it also has good puncture resistance. It has good drawdown capabilities to allow processors to make thinner gauge films and therefore save costly resin. This grade contains a high level of both slip and antiblocking agents. For food packaging applications, it provides good sealability. It can also be used for thin-gauge liner films, garment bags, and industrial and general-purpose applications. Equate Petrochemical, Safat, Kuwait; +965 4343666; www.equate.com
