Breyer sells PET film extrusion lines to Middle East customer

Breyer Co. (Singen, Germany) has announced that it recently received a new order for two PET film extrusion lines from a company in the Middle East that has been a loyal customer for many years. The customer is keenly interested in producing quality film and packaging and stated that Breyer's ThermoFlex concept and processing know-how will make this possible in a cost-effective manner.

BREYER-300.jpgThe systems' melt pump control and rapid adjustment of film thickness enable fast startups. Calendering gaps can be set easily and quickly, and the technique allows the production of low-tension flat film that is advantageous during the subsequent thermoforming process.

The line is designed to process PP and PS film and achieves an output of 1000 to 1200 kg/h. Multilayer film can be produced in thicknesses between 200 and 1400 µm.

Breyer has 300 employees and a global network of agencies as well as its own service and sales facility in Shanghai. Its product portfolio includes film, sheet, and tubing lines, tooling, and thermoforming systems. Transparent flat film for optical applications is an area of expertise.
