PET cast-film technology features electrostatic pinning for film layon?instead of polishing the film between two rollers, the film is cast on a chill roll with up to a 2.4-m diameter. The technique makes it possible to extrude films up to 2 mm in width in a thickness range from 125 µm to 1 µm.

The thin-gauge polishing roller for regular calendered PET film lines produces ultra-thin, high-quality roll stock. This compensates for the deflection of the chill roll and enables A-grade polished film production down to 100 µm.
