Efficient and reliable, the WEKO coating process uses a rotor atomiser to evenly spray small quantities of anti-block and anti-fogging agents onto the film inline, without making contact. Droplets are evenly distributed on the film, then spread across the smoothing roll to produce a sealed film, which is then dried with hot air.

The coating system is said to provide a high-quality, reliable coating. The film can be further processed without intermediate storage. Both sides of the film can be simultaneously coated with different fluids (e.g. anti-fogging and silicone), reducing processing times.
