ChromaCalc 3.0 color formulation software responds to data from the color matching sequence and adapts to the user?s workflow. All color matching and correction functions appear and run from one screen. The software has navigational arrows to move through jobs, and keywords to help find an ingredient, formula, or sample.
The software is designed to integrate with related color control technology, including ColorTools 3.0, a color quality control program. One feature allows all color matching and correction functions to appear and run from one screen. Standard and customizable job templates are included, the latter handling functions such as basic substrates, colorant groups, learning algorithms, and matching methods.
An interactive formula grid allows formulas to be simultaneously viewed at the component and base level. Gloss compensation is said to yield color consistency between standards and varying product finishes.
