Digital Hardness Tester Is Portable And Easy To Use

pn22-100.jpgThe Shore S1 Digital Durometer hand-held, battery-powered digital hardness tester is said to provide accurate hardness test results by simply placing the presser foot on a sample for a pre-determined dwell time. Dwell time is adjustable from 1 to 99 sec.

Unit has nine pre-calibrated interchangeable test scale probes and displays results on test parameters an LCD with 0.1 resolution. An audible alarm provides for quick pass/fail testing of rubbers, elastomers and plastics.

The tester can store 6800 results by lot or part number and maintains such statistics as total test, average, range and standard deviation. It has an RS-232 serial interface and conforms to ASTM D-2240, DIN 5305, JIS L6301 and other applicable specifications.
