Magnum cartridge heaters are manufactured using Durex Industries' proprietary swage and compaction processes. This high density compaction process has enabled design of industry-leading high-watt density heaters. Additionally, due to the company's lean manufacturing processes and automation, Durex's cartridge heaters are competitive with those manufactured offshore.

Magnum cartridge heaters are now available in standard diameters ranging from ¼ to 1 inch and 6.5 to 20 mm. They are also available with industry standard lead wires, lead exits, connectors, mounting flanges, integral thermocouples, and other features.

Durex Industries operates from a 125,000-sq-ft manufacturing facility in Cary, IL, and serves a variety of industries including the plastics processing, medical device, semiconductor, photovoltaic, and general industrial markets.
