E-shots Web-exclusive: BASF to increase capacity in Mexico

New compounding capacity at BASF's Altamira, Mexico site will produce various nylon 6, 66, and PBT resins. According to company sources, its other North American engineering plastics compounding facilities in Wyandotte, MI and Sparta, TN will continue their normal operations. Products compounded at the Altamira facility will be supplied to customers in Mexico and along the U.S.-Mexico border.
