E-shots Web-exclusive: Inkcups Now makes customer-focused changes
November 1, 2007
A manufacturer of pad and screen printing supplies, equipment, and laser engravers, Inkcups Now Corp. (Danvers, MA; www.inkcups.com), has taken three steps recently to meet the needs of customers worldwide.
First, the company developed a new online technical support system that pairs with audio (over a phone line) in which an ICN technician controls the user's computer to administer equipment setup and troubleshooting, software demonstrations, and project discussions.
ICN also has an eye on its Canadian client base, and has opened a distribution center in Toronto, ON to help customers in Canada avoid extra cross-border shipping costs.
In the U.S., ICN has expanded its Danvers facility by taking over another floor in its current building, thus doubling its space to 12,000 ft². The company says the move has helped increase ready-to-ship inventory and production efficiency, as well as allowed for the addition of several silicon mixing stations, plate punching machines, laser etching machines, and greater ink storage.
